This study, resulting from a collaboration between The Smell and Taste Lab and the @CRNL, shows that the congruence (i.e. the harmony) between the texture and the fragrance of a cosmetic product could be a good predictive indicator of the well-being provided by cosmetic product use and also of product novelty. We hope that this work will encourage the scientific and cosmetic community to deepen the topic of cross-modal interaction in the perception of cosmetic products.
We would like to thank @internationa journal of Cosmetic science scientific committee for their review: @Tao Jiang, @Alice Bourdier and @Anne Abriat for their participation in the realization of this publication.
